How do you dress when you work from home every day?

I was used to working in the clinical setting, and granted- times have changed over the years. When I first started in my career I wore a tie daily. This slowly gave way to wearing a button up and slacks, but still kept very professional as one should.
After Covid, it seems things got even more lax- and I would often wear a polo with khakis. But now that I was going remote- how should my style change if at all?
Not all remote jobs are the same. My spouse for example will rarely actually meeting with a person online. When she does she insures she looks professional and in the appropriate setting. However, much of her job she can do in her sweats when it’s convenient or at a coffee shop in yoga pants.
My job though remote, requires a lot of face-to-face time over the computer. So as part of my morning routine, there are three rules I like to follow to help guide my outfit for that day.
3 Rules On How To Dress For Remote Work
I try to keep these simple rules in mind when I am dressing for my remote work day.

1. Keep It Professional
For me this means no T shirts or V necks. It must be a collared shirt of some kind- either button up or polo. So long as I look the part from the waist up I should be ok.
2. Keep It Clean
No wearing the same shirt day after day. A new shirt, preferably in a different color or style every day. Be sure it is free of wrinkles, lint, or that it looks too worn.
3. Keep It Consistent
Dress for your role. I am seeing patients on the regular and working with high level staff- so keeping my clothing consistently appropriate is important. This also means no wearing pajamas to the office. I dress every morning after a shower just as if I would be going into a workplace.
